Harold Weinman, 93, of Memphis, died March 14, 2013 at the Methodist Hospice Residence. Harold was born November 6, 1919. He graduated from Tech High School. Harold served in WW II and was discharged from the Army's 385th fighter squadron in 1945. He married Shirley Faye Brown Weinman August 18, 1946 and they were married for 66 years. He was a member of the Baron Hirsch Congregation and Temple Israel Congregation.

Harold and his wife Shirley operated Harold Weinman Jewelers at 5100 Poplar Ave. for 25 years. Prior to that, Harold worked at Cel-Max Wholesale Jewelers located at 582 South Main Street in Memphis.

Harold lost his battle after fighting various forms of cancer for many years and volunteered for the West Clinic Cancer Center for over twelve years. He and his wife were ballroom dancers for 65 years of their marriage. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Weinman and his son, Jeffrey Weinman. He is survived by his son, Dennis Weinman and a brother, Bernie Weinman.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 15, 2013 at the Sam Abraham Chapel in Baron Hirsch Cemetery.
