Stained Glass Emblem

Sue Ann Alley Frick, 76, died on March 25, 2013 under the caring hands of Baptist Trinity Hospice House. Sue was born in Jacksonville, Texas on September 21, 1936. She married her husband, Fred, in 1953 and they celebrated their 60th anniversary on January 24.

She attended Stephen F. Austin State University. Between having 3 sons and supporting her husband in his career with Price Waterhouse, she became a self taught Russian historian. Fred and Sue traveled the world, but Russia stayed dear to her heart. Most of Fred's career was in Nashville. Sue volunteered for many charities and served on the Nashville Ballet Board. They built a home on a farm in Franklin, TN and raised horses and cattle.

While Sue had diverse interests, her family was her dearest devotion and love. Along with her husband, she leaves her 3 sons: Paul (Jo Ellen) of Oliver Springs, TN; Michael (Elise) of Memphis; and Scott (Stephany) of Collierville. Her grandchildren are Nathan Frick (Amber) of Chattanooga; John Frick of Chattanooga and Lauren Frick of Collierville. She also leaves her brother, Benny Alley (Louise) of Shreveport, LA.
