Thomas Smith, Jr., 81, went to be with his Lord on July 10th, 2013. He was born and raised in North Memphis and attended Christine Grade School, Humes High School and the University of Memphis. He worked in the sheet metal industry local #4 for fifty years.

He served in the US Army for two years. His survivors include his best friend, Pat Prendergast, and one brother, Fr. Maury Smith, Franciscan, born and raised in Memphis now living in St. Louis, MO. He was predeceased by his father, Thomas Smith, and his mother, Rose Stupnesky Smith.

Visitation will be 9:00-10:00 am Friday, July 12th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 155 Market @ Third Street, with a Scripture Wake Service and Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 am. The burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 1663 Elvis Presley Blvd.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Online condolences may be made at
