Claire Beery Austin

Claire Beery Austin, born May 31, 1942 passed away Feb. 22, 2012 after a short illness. She was a graduate of Mary Washington College of the University of Virginia. She was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church where she served in several volunteer capacities. She also participated in other civic activities. Claire enjoyed an active social life and will be remembered fondly by all of her many friends. She is survived by her husband Don, son Donald, daughter-in-law Kelly and two grandsons Peyton and Graham and her sister Martha Ream.

Services will be held at St. Johns Episcopal Church, 3245 Central Ave. on Friday March 2, 2012.
Visitation will be at 10AM at the church sanctuary and the service at 11AM with internment at the St. Johns Cemetery to follow. The family requests Memorials be sent to St. Johns Episcopal Church or Memphis Boy Choir both at 3245 Central Ave. Memphis, TN 38111 or a charity of the donor's choice.
